Activations are crucially important in conveying our brand through an environment when hosting partners and clients in spaces at events. When creating environments for our activations we want to create atmospheres that convey contemporary and modern while bringing in cues of the outdoors and weather with furnishings and props.
Furniture
Our furniture should reflect our premium brand identity with comfort and modern selections. We never want to come across as stodgy or impersonal, so striking the right balance between comfort and contemporary is extremely important when selecting furniture. We in a sense are welcoming people into our brand, so therefore want to set a tone that makes them feel at ease but wanting to do business as well.

Weather Props
Weather props are cues to integrate the outdoors and weather into our space in an artful way. When choosing props we want to be sure that the selection always feels premium as well as serves purpose in functionality or creating an atmosphere. Juxtaposing technology into organic elements is always encouraged to create atmosphere that conveys our technological side of weather data.

Color Approach
Further guidance on color for signage, printed materials, and decor if needed can be found in our Color page found on this site.
Real-Feel
Because multi-sensory is a valuable vehicle in illustrating behaviors and effects of “Weather: The Original Influencer” in what we feel, try, and buy we want to incorporate it whenever possible into our activation experiences. These real-feel experiences should be triggered or paired with messaging to explain the purpose of what weather behavior they are representing.
Below are some example of how we’ve utilized multi-sensory executions within our activation spaces that have proven successful.

Heat lamps for representing rising temperatures

Snow machines to represent snowfall

3D clouds

Water misters at entrance to create humidity

Fans paired with imagery of fall
Things to avoid
When choosing materials please consider the entirety of the activation by not choosing multiple textures. For instance avoid mixing varieties of woods, different styles of furniture, or colors that don’t pair or look ad hoc and not complete a cohesive environment.
Execution Expectations
We want to welcome our guests into our space and have it serve as an extension of our brand; therefore, there is an additional “attention to detail” we are looking for in execution as being “seamless.” When considering materials we ask all parties consider how it will present in execution and remedy any issues of presentation that may include “rippling and bubbles” as examples.
